Hi there,
I'm Cody!

Family, Wedding & Event Photographer | South Burnett
As a photographer, I'm not just an observer- I am a storyteller, a keeper of moments and a creator of legacies that will live on for generations.
It’s a true privilege to step into your world, connect with your family, and document the story that only you can tell. This isn’t just about photos for me - it’s about preserving legacy. The kind of images your children will hold onto one day. The ones their children will look back on and say, “That was them.”
My approach is relaxed, honest and deeply connection-led. I’m easy-going, bubbly, and you’ll probably hear me laughing (usually at myself). If there’s a hole in the ground, I’ll find it. If there’s something to trip over, I’ve already stepped in it. But while I might be a little clumsy, I’m incredibly intentional. I don’t beat around the bush. I guide you when you need it, step back when you don’t, and I always go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable, confident and completely taken care of.
I’m drawn to rich, vibrant tones, with a deep love for timeless black and white - the kind that strips everything back to pure emotion. Whether we’re outdoors surrounded by nature, in the comfort of your home, or inside my Softlight Studio in Kingaroy, a calm, light-filled space designed for maternity, newborn and small family sessions. The focus always remains on your connection.
From newborn snuggles to the chaos and calm of family life… to weddings filled with quiet anticipation, tears, laughter and wild dance floors - I capture the heartbeat of it all.
Because these aren’t just images for today.
They’re pieces of your story, carried through generations.
📸 Step into my world & see what I’m all about!
Photography is a way of feeling,of touching,of loving.

Family is the foundation of our lives - a place where love begins and never ends. It includes not just parents and siblings, but also the wider circle of relatives who shape our stories and share in our traditions. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins - they all play a role in who we become, offering support, wisdom, and memories that last a lifetime.
Whether near or far, this larger network of loved ones connects us across generations and geography. Gatherings feel fuller, holidays more meaningful, and milestones richer when shared with those who’ve known us through the years. Together, they form a tapestry of belonging, reminding us that we are part of something greater than ourselves.

Let's create magic together, one step at a time!
